So, this upcoming week concludes the ten weeks allotted for my Form, Space & Order class. It has been a challenging ten weeks to say the least, but all in all, I have learned so much in this time. Coming into this class, I felt as though I knew the basics to form, space and order; and for the most part, I did. Through the ten weeks, I have grown in a deeper understand of each though. We analyzed, diagramed, modeled and fully constructed form, space and order. As a final result, I as both a designer and person, have learned to utilize space that most may not even see there or possible. I will leave this blog for the time being with this quote that I have learned to be entirely too true, by a man that I’m sure you all have heard of:
“Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose.” –Charles Eames
